How Time Flies

A year passes so quickly yet here we are. I took to heart Les Visible’s admonishment that anonymous posting is OK but carries no weight. If you have something to say spit it out. Put a name to your voice and let it call out. Well, I did.

Its one year to the day since I posted on Plato’s cave. I have learned how to work Blogger’s interface and more recently how to do the same on WordPress – just in case. It is real easy folks.

If there is one blogger that really helped in setting it all up it was Dublin Mick. He’s going through a quiet period at the minute. After the last 4 weeks I know how that can work so cheers DM and many thanks.

As many are aware I no longer live in the land of my birth. I was lucky to have my family over to visit just recently. In all the fuss I managed to snatch an hour’s chat with my father and a revealing time it was.

My wife tells me I’m an arrogant SOB for calling the sheeple for what they are. Well......she may have a point. It seems my dad has a sign in the front window of the house I grew up in and it simply says - ‘Boycott Israhell’ (my spelling).

He’s not online and he still watches TV. He’s a John Wayne fan and he can tell you exactly where every scene of ‘The Quiet Man’ was made. He is not politically active – that was the path that I chose. Despite all that he gets it and sees through the BS and lies. I am very proud of that man.

I’m starting to realise that there are many more ‘awake’ people out there than I had previously thought. On many of the blog forums the number of passive readers outnumbers the active bloggers that leave comments.

It is my belief that all we lack is cohesion. We have been deliberately divided so that in the dark days ahead no effective opposition can rise to the pre-planned solution the PTB will offer as the cure for the ills they have caused. Only time will tell.

I will take comfort from the knowledge that those of us ranting online are not simply tilting at windmills or sounding off to an empty stage. I would encourage others to give this blogging phenomenon a go. It’s amazing what you can discover about yourself. Let’s see what the next year brings.

Finally here’s a wee treat from George Carlin and Bill Hicks.

  1. well said Chuck. i absolutely agree about anonymous posting. really it's about courage. it's about opening your mouth. i don't think there's any safety from tptb in anonymous posting anyway -- just an illusion. tptb can find out anything they want to find out. so all it does is keep us from having any way to identify each other. in the bloggy world, a name is your skin in the game.

  2. Hi A.P. That’s exactly the point. I read the blogs of other posters for many years before plucking up the courage to post, first with the signature of Chuckyman and then finally to do it properly. I hope we all reach that stage eventually.

    I am currently working my way through your back catalogue of posts A.P. You have been busy. I’ll not comment on many – a tidal wave of my opinions would not be good form. I did enjoy your ‘process of analogy’ post. I love learning new stuff like that.

  3. Great Post Chuck! Love the vid...and your comments about comments. Safety is over-rated. They know who you are...they know where you live...screw em.

  4. Thanks Timster. Interesting timing with your recent post I thought and you’re right on the money. I’ve never really run with the herd so nothing new there then (grin).

  5. damn straight. people should blog and get the statcounter and write down a few controversial things and see what happens and poop their pants and get over it. i for one know i can look my children in the eyes and say i tried.

  6. Oh yeah A.P. I got to keep an eye on my stats...bwhahaha. Have you ever heard the expression ‘touching cloth’? I have had a few posts recently where I felt a little of that. It does have a noticeable affect of the wingnut meter.

    My eldest celebrated his 21st recently (hence the family coming over) and I tried to help him see that the most liberating moment in your life is when you finally don’t give a damn what people think or say about you.

    I was most proud on our recent holiday. We were at a caravan park (that’s considered a holiday over here) and the children’s entertainers came out on stage on the camp’s entertainment complex. All the kids cheered and my youngest (a mere 4 years old) stated that ‘they’re only costumes’ – priceless! I don’t have to fill their heads; I merely have to give them eyes to look.

  7. haha, hey you're doing it right! i have not heard the expression 'touching cloth.' sounds intriguing.

    i'll never forget when i had about 4 or 5 readers and i wrote a theory about benazir bhutto's assassination using laser technology and the pentagon visited my blog. good times. carry on.

  8. Fuck a Duck, here we go again.

    SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Sales people working neighborhoods in Northern Utah County have been asking some odd questions that have nothing to do with making the sale. Folks are reporting that they're asking about the new National Security Agency's data center that is being built at Camp Williams.

    The sales people say they're Israeli art students and are selling their works to raise money for a gallery. Some have even produced what appear to be legitimate Israeli passports.

    So, why would art students be interested in an NSA data center?

    Blogs and even church bulletins are buzzing. One such bulletin sent out to LDS women in Highland said, "This is a scam! These are not art students and federal law enforcement groups are actually investigating their ties to organized crime and terrorist groups." The note went on, "Part of their mission here is to gain information on the new NSA installation coming to our area."

    One Israeli artist knocked on Gail Black's door in Eagle Mountain. She bought a painting from him knowing that the price was too high, but she explained that she felt sorry for him. I asked her if he looked like a Mossad spy, she laughed and said, "No, just a poor thirsty boy." She said the subject of the NSA did not come up in their conversation.

    Saratoga Springs residents have complained to their police department about the art students. Officer Matt Schauerhamer tracked down one group at a restaurant. He does not know if they were spies, but they're definitely not artists. "I told them, 'If you're actually an artist, why don't you draw something?' I gave them a piece of paper and gave them my pen. They produced a picture that was about on par with what my kindergartner could have done."

    Officer Schauerhamer cited the group for soliciting without a city business license and then passed along their information to Immigration and Customs Enforcement. He said ICE is investigating.

    ABC 4 also contacted other agencies that might have interest in possible door-to-door spies. We were told by a spokesman for Utah Homeland Security that they were unaware of the Israeli artists and the FBI had no comment.

    Shades of 9/11.

    No federal law groups are investigating these MOSSAD spies, if anything, the FBI is probably escorting them around, providing cover and protection while giving them intelligence on where and what to spy on.

  9. Their tactics don’t seem to have changed much, do they Greg? It is interesting hearing that they are interested in the new NSA facility. I read this post yesterday which touches on a similar theme.

    Why don’t they just get another Jonathan Pollard on the inside? Their tendency to be control freaks will help in their undoing.

  10. Saw your comment on the gulf Chucky. As for water being contaminated, look for more of this. The cheapest way out is the big Berkey water filter system, about $250.00 if you don't have reverse osmosis.

    Yeah it is a liberating moment when you don't care what people think. I have created a lot of angst among some of the mushrooms I have known all my life. It is hard to pretend you are stupid too, why bother.

  11. Good to hear from you DM. Mushroom is a good name for the sheep. Kept in the dark and fed a load of manure (grin).

    Good News About Obama Appointments
    From Middle East Forum, by Steve Rosen, Wed, 19 Nov 2008:

    Previous postings raised questions about potential nominees to Obama Administration positions regarding their views on Israel, Iran, the Palestinians, and other issues. Today, I focus on reasons to have confidence that the incoming team will do positive things in the Middle East. Many of the candidates already nominated or rumored to be likely appointees, are well known to and highly regarded by AIPAC and other pro-Israel organizations. My colleagues, and in some cases I, had contacts and dealings with each of these people over the years, and we had evidence that gave us confidence. This includes

    * Rahm Emmanuel, Chief of Staff to the President;
    * Ron Klain, Chief of Staff to Vice President Biden;
    * Jim Steinberg, likely to be Deputy National Security Adviser or National Security Adviser to Obama;
    * Tony Blinken, likely to be National Security Adviser to the Vice President;
    * Greg Craig, White House Counsel;
    * Pete Rouse, White House adviser
    * Jim Messina, Deputy Chief of Staff to the president;
    * Phil Schiliro, Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs;
    * Dennis Ross, rumored for several top diplomatic positions;
    * Jack Lew, rumored to head the National Economic Council;
    * Jane Harman and Tony Lake, rumored for top intelligence positions;
    * Janet Napolitano, who will head the Department of Homeland Security;
    * Richard Danzig, probable Deputy Secretary of Defense;
    * Richard Clarke, rumored for a ntational security post,; and many others.

  14. Hi Greg. Are there any members of the Kenyan’s administration that aren’t jews? Do you think we should start a competition – spot the shabbat goy. We’ll need to think of a catchy name etc. What do you think?

    I think that you're in danger of losing your Blog for asking questions about just what in the hell is really going on, just like Rick Sanchez, Helen Thomas, etc.

    But don't stop asking those questions, because like someone said, 'Sunlight is the best disinfectant."

  16. That’s OK Greg - I got a spare just in case (grin). Still need a catchier name for it thought.
